Taiwan is a subtropical island in East Asia located in the Pacific Northwest at the junction of the East China Sea and the South China Sea, adjacent to the People's Republic of China (PRC) to the northwest, Japan to the northeast, and the Philippines to the south. The capital city is Taipei, which along with New Taipei City and Keelung constitutes the largest metropolitan area in Taiwan.



National Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall (中正纪念堂) is a national monument and tourist attraction located in Taipei erected in memory of Generalissimo Chiang Kai-Shek, former President of the Republic of China. It was built to celebrate the long-serving and first president of Taiwan, Chiang Kai-Shek.







Taipei 101 is a skyscraper located in Taipei which is formerly known as Taipei World Financial Centre. It is the highest building in Taiwan and it is very famous for its New Year's Eve firework display show. There is also a mall located in the building as well as a restaurant located at the 85th floor of the building. Meanwhile, the other floors are occupied as offices.











The Baishihu Suspension Bridge (白石湖吊橋) is located in Neihu (内湖) of Taipei City. It is 116 meters long and shaped like the keel of a dragon boat (龍舟). You should definitely visit this place to embrace this beautiful creation as well as the nice scenery around it.
