An exotic vacation destination full with cultural sights and natural scenery as well as delicious food

Penang (Pulau Pinang) is a state located on the northwest coast of Peninsular Malaysia, by the Malacca Strait. It is divided into 2 parts, Penang Island where the capital city (George Town) is located and Seberang Perai on the Peninsular Malaysia. It has many historical buildings as being the first British settlement in Southeast Asia and was once occupied by Japanese Empire during World War II.

We went for a short trips in Penang and we stayed in Batu Ferrighi. The view was superb from the hotel and the ocean breeze is just perfect for a short staycation. We went to a mural hunt in the town and able to catch up some of the famous ones.

We also tried the most famous cendol in town located at "Lebuh Keng Kwee". It was so good to have a nice bowl of cendol after walking for a long distance under the hot weather.

The next day, we visited the famous temple in Penang, the Kek Lok Si Temple as well as Bukit Bendera (Penang Hill) to enjoy the amazing views of the city from the top as well as a chilly climate.
